Naasirka Darusha Liner
design by Peter Gray
The former Vilani Megacorp Naasirka specialised primarily
in the manufacturing of electronics and heavy manufactured goods like
vehicles, but the company also possessed a sizeable shipping line
that ran between Rhylanor/Spinward Marches and Vland. This line ran a
mixture of both cargo and passengers Behind the Claw, its ships
usually following the main X-Boat routes. However several contractor
firms ran feeders lines from off of these routes in Corridor and
Trailing Deneb. The workhorse of this trade was the the 800 ton
Darusha Liner, an otherwise basic J-4 and 1G vessel that carried
mostly passengers with a little bit of cargo.
While now a very rare vessel in Regency service, it is quite common
in many of the coreward sectors that Naasirka served. A couple of
examples serve with the Souk free trader collective, though many more
are found in independent service with lucky free traders elsewhere,
or derelict throughout Corridor and Provence.
