Catacomb is so called because of its extensive tunnel systems carved out of the soft rock. An important client system before the Collapse, it was annexed by the Regency to provide base and refuelling access to the Deep Rift. The world is heavily fortified, and its population is deeply grateful for the assistance rendered by the local naval and scout garrisons. The world's shipyards churn out a number of military and civilian designs for operations in the Rift.
